Happy April Fools’ Day!
Don’t worry, I won’t be pulling any tricks on you today. Although, I did consider it.
Today’s post could have been an elaborate con about how the “How I Met Your Mother” producers have changed their mind, and are doing one more season (depending on how you felt about last night’s finale, that could be a good thing or a bad thing). However, the 10th season will be a reinterpretation of the first nine seasons performed as a ballet. It could have been awesome.
Another option was announcing that Major League Baseball had decided to cut their 2014 season short by 161 games. So all the teams who won their first and only game are in the playoffs, but it seemed cruel to take away the Cubs’ fans hopes even earlier in the season than usual.
If that’s not enough April foolery for you, the Internet has provided more than enough jokes and pranks to satisfy even the biggest April Fools fanatic. From Domino’s new edible pizza box to Google’s Chrome emoji translator , the Web is celebrating first of April as only it can.
If for some reason this still hasn’t put you in the April fools spirit, then there’s really nothing I can do for you, except for share Google’s new app. The new photo app promises to make all of your photos a little more #Hoffsome, with your very own celebrity photobomb David Hasselhoff-style.
