I dragged myself out of bed this morning to go for a much need 4 mile run! Once I hit the road, I felt great and was so happy I got up.
While running I listened toRobb Wolf’s Podcast about diet, nutrition and specifically the Paleo diet. It was fascinating and so interesting. I know nothing about podcast’s but the other day I saw on Stuft Mama’s Blog that she listened to Julian Michael’s podcast while on a 20 mile run, and it intrigued me. So, I quickly searched around Itunes and just started to listen last night and then I decided to try it out while on my run this morning. It was awesome!!! I didn’t even feel like I was running. I just listened to the podcast – about Navy Seals (so cool) and the run went by so fast AND I ran at a way faster pace, probably because I wasn’t thinking about anything.
I typically do not run with music or anything else, but I am going to continue to listen to podcasts and see how it goes!
For breakfast, I had a fabulous protein pancake from the Tone It Up nutrition plan. These are so good and so filling!
I am feeling congested and groggy today, so I will be hydrating in order to fight off this cold I feel coming. I will not get sick!!
