…directly for the great State of Disbelief…

If you’re under the legal drinking age and looking to pull a fast one with a fake i.d.–don’t.  That’s bad and illegal.

If my harsh, harsh words have not deterred you from your path then maybe this will: you may have to back that i.d. up with a Facebook account.  Assuming you’re also in the United Kingdom (although I feel like this has the potential to become an international phenomenon).

Bouncers at some clubs in the UK are apparently busting people with fake i.d’s by making them show a matching Facebook account.  You may be wondering if that’s a violation of privacy.  I’m wondering if these bouncers know how easy it would be to create a phony Facebook account.  Hint–it’s easier than creating a fake i.d.

People have Facebook pages for their pets.  That’s all I’m saying. Facebook is known for many things, being a bastion of truth is not one of them.  I’m not promoting creating a fake Facebook account to match your fake i.d. I’m just saying it would be very simple, kids.

You may also be wondering what they do if an individual does not (or says they don’t) own a smart phone or have a Facebook account (as if).   That, is a great question.  I suppose that’s when the old-school profiling comes in to play.  In a way it’s refreshing, bouncing as bouncing was meant to be.
