I realized, after taking these pictures, that I had forgotten to stamp the date on the title card. This spread is from the week of February 11-17. Valentines Week & the first week in which I've had to use an insert to accommodate all the pictures I took that week! The LOVE card on the title page is a Target gift card that we got for our wedding. I spent it and then kept it to use in scrapbooking.

This side of the spread was devoted to Valentine's night. I had to teach dance that night but Andy had a Valentine's dinner ready for us by the time I got home. This has become a tradition for us.

The insert is dedicated to my nephew Nixon's birthday party. He turned one! His party was held at Clay's parents house and was baseball themed, complete with hot dogs, nachos, and Crackerjack! Clay's sister, Britta did all the decorations and she did such a great job. The party was so cute! I included a picture of Nixon digging in to his birthday cake. He loved it.

Here's the other side of the insert. I created little tabs with washi tape to make it easier to see that it was an insert and turn the page. And below is the right side of the spread.

That Saturday, after Nixon's party, we had everyone over to our house for dinner to celebrate Andy's graduation. He graduated with his Master's of Engineering in December. It was fun to have everyone over to the house. We served soup and breadsticks. Also included on this side is our tickets to the Banff Film Festival which we went to on Sunday. I trimmed the tickets down and stuck them in a 3x4 pocket. The large LOVE type is from an envelope that came in the mail. I cut it out and adhered it to a journalling card (from the turquoise kit.)
So it was a busy week for us but it made for some fun pictures!
