Gourmet marshmallows seem to be a growing trend but not one that I have tried yet so I was very excited to be sent some samples from Fluffy Puff Puffs! Of course I have tried Marshmallows before but nothing like these, I am more used to the cheap pink and white variety. Gourmet Marshmallows are taking the fluffy sweets to the next level.
Fluffy Puff Puffs have loads of different flavours to choose from but I was sent a sample of 4 of them. The marshmallows are quite large cubes (1.25 inches across), and come in packs of 6. They are priced from £3 and up to £3.80 for topped marshmallows. The texture looks quite dense compared to those cheaper marshmallows that I mentioned earlier but when I squeezed them I was surprised at how soft and spongey they were.
Raspberry
First up we have Raspberry flavour, which is make using real dried raspberries and natural raspberry essence oil. It was a lovely bright pink color and tasted fantastic! The raspberry flavor is really strong and definitely did taste "real". It was sweet and yet had the slight tartness that you get from fresh raspberries.
Lime Punch
Mallow number 2 is Lime Punch. This tasted just like real limes and that is unsurprising because it is made with fresh lime juice and lime zest. Again the flavor was strong and the zesty taste was really refreshing.
Sugar and Spice
Next up is Sugar and Spice which is a classic marshmallow coated in cinnamon and sugar. The cinnamon adds a slight tongue tingle but with the sugar and the sweetness of the mallow, it is a great combo.

Last is my favorite of the bunch: Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle! The marshmallow is made from sweet vanilla bean and then drizzled with a mix of 70% Belgian dark chocolate and roasted peanut butter. Doesn't it just look awesome?

The chocolate is thick like a ganache and the dark chocolate and peanut butter taste was heavenly. It's clearly decent chocolate and I love the slight saltiness from the peanut butter.Verdict
What a fantastic welcome to the world of Gourmet Marshmallows! I absolutely loved everything about Fluffy Puff Puffs' marshmallows, the flavours were strong and the texture was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to try these again, I really like the sound of the White Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle!
