Happy Monday! Today’s motivation is all about a well-deserved rest. No, not for you. Today, Big Ben, as in the bell, rang for the last time until 2021.
The bell has been marking the hour (and quarter hours) for over 150 years, and it’s taken its toll (get it?). So, starting tomorrow, the bell, along with the rest of the clock tower will begin the biggest renovation in the tower’s long history.
With that kind of track record for showing up for work and helping others to do the same, Ben deserves a bit of a rest. It’s also a nice healthy dose of perspective for those tiring of the daily grind…at least you get your weekends.
