Robot & Dragon Vs the Hoover

River and Indigo have never heard a hoover until today. But, before you inwardly start to judge me for not having clean floors for the last 8 months or so please rest assured that the floors are in fact clean they just get swept or washed as they are hardwood floors - hoovering actually makes more of a mess. Though that being said, I do fully admit to being a bit domestically challenged. Every time I use the washing machine I still have to ask how to use it, as I can never remember what buttons to press and dials to turn. No matter how many times I am told the information seems to leave my head instantly.Anyway I have kind of veered off point again...So when the hoover was fired up making its monstrous sounds as it sucked the air out of the vacumn pack bag of baby clothes, I was expecting the twins to freak out a little bit, or to at least crack a smile at the crazy noises it was making. I was all ready to spring into mommy action to comfort my little ones or to make them laugh or smile more but to be honest it was a bit anti-climatic, they didn't react at all. No smiles, no startled glances at the tiny red monster growling over the plastic bag. Nothing! They just nonchalantly carried on playing with their Robot and Dragon toys. Which now that I think about it seems fair really. A hoover is no competition for a Robot, let alone a Dragon...what was I thinking?I don't feel that interested in hoovering either. These 2 look like a way better option.
