Although the UK may not be synonymous with ‘romance’ like that of our French neighbours, there are some amazing places to explore with your significant other. As Valentine’s Day is now less than a week away, here are six lover’s paradises’ to be enjoyed on February 14th.

SPA BREAK

The Grand Hotel & Spa, YorkHand-in-hand you can explore the cobbled streets and centuries-old buildings within the heart of York. After a day of strolling around the historic walls, you can rest your achy feet in the hotel’s full-service spa. With tastefully decorated rooms and suites available, you’re sure to have an impossibly luxurious and rejuvenating break. There is also a helicopter pad on the roof, if you really want to arrive in style.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa, BathBath is known for its natural hot springs, meaning it is the best place to visit for an authentic spa break. Located in the center of the city, the Gainsborough is steps away from Thermae Bath Spa, so you can really immerse yourself in the luxurious setting. If you do manage to leave your tub, you’ll discover that Bath has a lot more to offer for a love-filled break away from the water.
