Royal Ontario Museum

Royal Ontario MuseumYesterday I went to the Royal Ontario Museum with Grandpa.
We took the subway. I think it was my first time on the subway.
It was really fast, and it was not clean. You wouldn't want to sit on the floor, touch anything or lean on anything. The seats felt gross and kind of wet, maybe because they were cold.
When we got there we went to the MAYA exhibit. I learned that the Maya people liked art and believed in weird stuff. They built big tombs for their kings, like the ancient Egyptians. I also saw that the Maya calender is actually a circle. They had some old jewelry made of gold and jade stone. I remember a giant heavy necklace made all of jade, and giant ear plugs like punk kids put in their ears but it was seen as normal back then. Some of the jewelry looked pretty modern. They also scarred their faces in lines on purpose for beauty.
It's weird when you think one day we'll be history.
Maya, secrets of their ancient world opens November 19
After we saw the Maya exhibit we went to see the Dinosaur exhibit. I like Dinosaurs because it amazes me how animals that big could have all died.
Then we went to the food court. I had salad and Grandpa had soup, we both had vegetarian sushi. The salad was okay, the sushi tasted old and Grandpa said the soup wasn't good.
When we finished eating the gross and expensive food we went to the bat cave and read about bats. They had some pictures of really ugly bats.
Then we went home. I went to gymnastics.
This morning when I was writing my blog a spider came down right in front of my face. I ran away and it went back up.
Today at horseback riding I fell off the horse. Everyone said the horse went too fast and I fell off but I he threw me off on purpose because he wanted to go with the other horses, instead of trotting over the poles. He walked into the wall, bucked me off over his head and ran to the other horses. When I fell I hit the wall landed on my head and fell over. I got up right away and climbed back on the horse. It didn't hurt, there's lots of nice soft dirt. It felt like I was watching someone else fall.
I'm just drinking some Vitasoy Organic Mint Chocolate Soy Milk. It's really good.
