Saturday Night into Sunday Funday

I left the house for lunch yesterday and never came back. Met up with Sprunger at our Saturday afternoon staple: Taqueria Jalisco (pictured above). They have a small but ultra comfortable bar with a TV so on Saturdays that means I'm enjoying my delicious enchiladas verdes w/chips and salsa and watching college football. We always end up getting loud as we cheer and yell at the tv, but the staff there loves us.

Saturday Night into Sunday Funday After a couple hours at Jalisco, Sprunger took off and I ended up meeting Hector at Jack Ash's. I hadn't been there in forever. They remodeled the place. We had good conversation with the bartender from Chicaaaaago and a couple guys from Detroit, one of whom was a beer nerd like me (even though he looked slightly homeless). We told them how we used to live there on Thursday Nights for $2 Pint Night and how we turned floating Guinness into a science. "What do you call it when you float Guinness on Shiner?" they asked. "Black Eye." "What do you call Guinness over Dead Guy Pale Ale?" "Michael Jackson." We stayed there until shift change and made our way to Molly's around 8:30. Cute bartenders, UFC fight night, and $2.50 PBRs. God I love that place. I don't know where they came from but suddenly Clarissa and Lindsay show up and I open my big mouth saying i'll buy a round of beers if Stephan Bonner can make it out of the first round against Anderson Silva, but if Silva gets a first round KO they gotta buy me two. Well with under a minute left in the first round what do you know?.. Knockout. 2 free beers for me. Suhweet. After several PBRs, Lone Stars and Foster's (they always have them on special and I've suddenly acquired a taste for them) we said bye to Kaely our bartender and made our way to Icehouse and closed the night out.

Another fun Saturday night and straight into Sunday Funday.

It's football Sunday. If you're watching anything else on tv, slap yourself and change it to football @nfl @directv

It's always nice when the NFL tweets you back.

@cantuccfd Thanks for the PSA, Eric.

There's free chow at Molly's tonight. Sounds like a plan. 3 pigs on the pit. How can you beat that? Pig goooooood. And just in case that didn't blow your mind, this definitely will.
