Just when you thought you had all of the big shopping days of the season under control, here’s another one for you: Green Monday.
Not to be confused with Green Tuesday, a shopping day focused on green commercial practices, Green Monday was originally named by eBay, as it was its best sales day in December.
So, for those who have lost track: Green Monday is the Monday after Cyber Monday, which is of course the Monday after Black Friday, which are respectively the number 2 and 1 shopping days of the year, leaving Green Monday in slot number 3.
I believe that run-on sentence made my point beautifully: Can we please stop naming/color-coding specific holiday shopping days? Two is more than enough.
I’ll kick things off by reclaiming this day for the color that was thrust upon it. Let’s reclaim Green Monday:
