‘Tis the day before Christmas, and all through the land
Everyone’s stirring, for St. Nick will soon be at hand;
The last month’s been filled with prepping for today,
Yet somehow it seems all the time’s flown away.
There are stockings to hang, cookies to bake,
And last minute errands we all have to make.
With all the commotion we sometimes forget,
To just take a moment, and one big, deep breath.
The stress of today might cause you to worry,
Just don’t let your spirit get lost in the flurry.
You’ll meet all your deadlines, at least those that matter,
And before you know it, your loved ones will gather.
And on that note, I will get to my point.
I promise it’s coming, don’t get out of joint.
It may seem cheesy, and a wee bit cliché,
But please bear with me, I’ve just gotta say,
I wish you a holiday that is happy and bright,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
