Have you ever had one of those days where a cup of coffee just isn’t enough? You need something more, that extra little something. Well have I got good news for you. Thanks to KFC, you may soon be able to have your coffee and eat the cup too.
KFC has plans to introduce cups made from wafers lined with heat-resistant white chocolate and wrapped in sugar paper in UK markets (fingers crossed USA, we could be next!).
Personally, the truly shocking part of this for me is the discovery that KFC serves coffee. Who knew? It’s not particularly surprising that the restaurant that brought us the Double Down sandwich would make an edible cup.
Plus, when you think about it, it’s a very environmentally friendly move on their part, and will likely ensure that you will be chugging your coffee so that the cup doesn’t melt. Two birds, one stone, and we’re all one step closer to living the Willy Wonka dream. If you could get on that river of chocolate KFC, we’d very much appreciate it.
