He had described a Memorial he had seen in a small town (Lunenburg, N.S. my place of birth) and had made the routine all about how bad one family had must have been at fishing, because their family name appeared on the memorial quite frequently.
The above pic, is the Memorial to those men who lost their lives at sea. It is shaped like a compass rose, and is a very beautiful memorial. Anyway, A few people on FB took offence at this video. They thought it disrespectful and also not in very good taste to try and garner a few laughs at others misfortune. Especially when it involved the loss of life of so many.Many who were outraged were relatives of those lost, and others who knew the families of those lost. I can't say I blame them. It would be much like someone standing at a war memorial and making fun of those lost.Anyway, this is in you readers hands now, what are your thoughts on this?
