Although my friends would argue that this would be a fitting title for my auto-biography, it's actually just the title of the new book I'm reading (see photo left). I'm a sucker for all things superhero/super-villain, and this is written from the viewpoint of the latter (so far, so good). Far from feeling invincible, I'm actually tired. I go out way too much. I sometimes think of all the money I'd save if I just stayed in. I don't mean never going out. I just need to cut down on the impromptu day-long pub crawl marathons that start when a friend invites me out for lunch and then end when I'm driving home 10 hours later thinking to myself "didn't I just leave for lunch?". I just enjoy drinking delicious beer all day having a few cold ones with friends during the day when everyone else is working I guess. Reminds me again of why I love my job. Maybe my liver is invincible. Practice, practice, practice.
I'm currently addicted to NBA playoff action. It's faaaaaaantastic. Went up to SA for game 5 of the Spurs/Mavs first round series and then spent the night and next day with Pamela hitting our favorite spots in Kyle and Austin. We won by the way. (Go Spurs Go!)
See this is what I mean. I can't completely cut out going out cuz I love spurs games too much. I love hanging out with friends too much. I love traveling too much. But if I can just bring it down a notch I'd have more money for spurs games. More traveling. I could be at game 7 tomorrow if I hadn't spent so much money two weeks ago on 10 hour lunches. It's alright. Ireland's just around the corner. Can't wait.
