“Ghostbusters” reboot haters, today is a great day for you. The new and revamped “Ghostbusters” theme by Fall Out Boy featuring Missy Elliot made its online debut today.
Which means you have something else to complain about. Yay?
I’ll admit, it takes some getting use to. Mostly because the original is so beloved, but it’s not bad…just different.
But still, please direct your attention at the song. It will be a nice change of pace for the rest of us who are tired of hearing that the trailer is the most disliked in the history of YouTube.
We won’t even point out that a less than stellar title song remake, and a trailer that you don’t like because of reasons that have nothing to do with the female dominated casting choices, do not a bad movie make…okay, that was a lie.
In truth, I can’t understand why everyone isn’t just completely psyched about this reboot, which has looked amazing since they released the first trailer, and has only improved since then. But if some of you insist on hating this reboot with increasing intensity, then please take aim at the theme song.
