Springer Nature is a mission. In fact, it is a global organization. Their recent conclave on ‘Research and Innovation in Science for sustainable Development of India’ was on October̆ 10. There were eminent scientists, researchers, and enthusiasts present. A fabulous quote comes from Claude Bernard and it is quite relevant. She says that Art is I, and Science is We. That six words say a lot. What it indicates is that Art is an individual performance while Science is a collaborative activity. That lays the foundation of Springer Nature’s introspective and intriguing drive on the future of research in India. This is just a beginning. A lot more is yet to come. This is, n fact, for the first time Springer Nature had their global conference  in India.

Springer Nature is among the top global research companies.They are into education and professional publishing. All the sessions were quite interactive involving a high amount of brainstorming participations. Many prominent national and global personalities were present in the conclave. Some of the prominent personalities include Dr. Shiv Kúmar Sarin representing Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Vipin Tyagi from C-DOT, Dr. V Ramagopal Rao, Professor, IIT Delhi, and so on. In fact, Derek Haank, CEO, Springer Nature was part of the panel.

In fact, the release of the report on The Nature Index 2016 Rising Stars was quite insightful. Rather, there were many stakeholders that are part of research, science, and education fields present there. In addition, there were business leaders and government dignitaries. As a matter of fact, the conclave sets a strong message and momentum in this regard. Springer Nature strives to bring these participants from a wide spectrum of science in order to bring a boost in research in India. The role of science and innovation very important in order to support sustainable development in the country.
