St Audries Park Wedding: The Ceremony

Posted on the 24 August 2017 by Belinda Mccarthy @b_mccarthyphoto

It's a rare day indeed when you get to photograph not one, but TWO wedding ceremonies during a St Audries Park wedding! No - it wasn't a double wedding (I haven't done one of those yet, but please feel welcome to make me an offer!). This beautiful wedding day belonged to one couple only, and they had elected to have a civil ceremony in the gorgeous Orangery at St Audries, followed by a blessing at St Etheldreds Church, which is literally just a couple of minutes' walk, at the top of St Audries' private driveway.

As a wedding photographer, it was such a rare treat to be able to photograph two very different ceremonies for the same bride and groom! I've photographed many weddings at St Audries, in West Somerset, before - both in the Orangery and in the church - but to do both on the same day was amazing.

Of course, what makes a wedding ceremony really special, no matter where it is, is the emotions which run through it. As you'll see from these images, the bride and groom were absolutely wrapped up in each other ... to say that the love was felt in the room was an understatement! I was truly privileged to be the one to photograph their wedding at St Audries and to be present for these two very different, and very special wedding ceremonies.

You might have already seen the bridal prep blog from this same St Audries wedding (if not, whizz over and take a look!) and I'll also be bringing you more images from this lovely wedding day soon. But for now, sit back and take a look at some of my favourite images from these beautiful wedding ceremonies.....
