Steve Jobs Stanford Speech

Posted on the 26 August 2012 by Blogstevejobs @blogstevejobs

Today, I wanted to take a moment and write a quick post about my my favorite Steve Jobs video. It’s that famous speech that took place at Stanford University’s commencement ceremony in 2005.

The speech talks about three stories:

  1. connecting the dots
  2. love and loss
  3. death

For the ones of you that never saw it, please find it below. I encourage you to watch it, to see it more that once. At least that’s what I did, and continue to do it from time to time; and its working in my favor. Each time I do, I continue to acquire  different  thoughts. Not only that, but it refreshes my mind about the things that we, as individuals, should really focus in life.

I hope you like it as much as I do. Feel free to leave me any comments. And let’s all remember that while we can all learn a lot from Steve, each one has their own life. That means that each life story is and will be unique. Focus on yours, focus on being happy, and focus on achieving everything that you love. You have, not only the example of amazing leaders like Steve Jobs, but many others as well. In fact, we are all surrounded by great inspirational leaders. Its a matter of taking everything positive from them and using whatever is good for your own life.

As we continue to move into this 21st century world, individuals that are happy and truly love what they do will continue to enjoy further success for years to come.
