Sunday Social

One of my favorite things about Sunday is Neely's Sunday Social. I am not consistent as I would like but thing about the 4's. I had take part because my favorite number is 4.
1. 4 favorite things to do on a weekend
Sunday SocialEach weekend is completely different because we usually have events for work, games, or people coming to look at our apartment. Now that we are in the off season some of the things that we like to do are:
Going to IKEA: Gary and I actually like going to IKEA. It's fun to look how they design the rooms, and it gives us ideas for our apartment. We hate the current apartment, but looking at things for our future apartment makes us happy.
Poolside: One of the best things about living in Arizona is the fact that we can sit by the pool almost everyday. I know our dog, Heisman, has been loving the water lately. This past weekend he jumped into the pool several times. It's not quite ready yet for swimming, but nice to relax the muscles.
Read: I love reading so the fact that I can spend a few hours each day reading is amazing!!
Church: We LOVED our church back in Oklahoma, and quite haven't found a church that we love just as much in Arizona. Lately we have been watching church online, but we really need to find a church family here.
2. 4 favorite things about your best friend
Sunday Social
So I'm going to be completely cliche and go with my hubs as my best friend. I tell him constantly that he saved me. (That story is for a completely different time) Some of the things that I love about him:
He is funny! When things get too serious he always makes a joke to lighten the mood.
I can wear his clothes. The best thing in the whole world are his gray baseball pants. They are big and comfy. I love wearing them. When he would leave for all weekends for training I would wear them.
He can cook. He is also an amazing cook. Some days I should be a better wife and cook for him, but he is such a good cook. My favorite thing that he has made me is lobster. I've never had it before so we went to the store and got some. Check it out here.
He supports me. I'm so glad that he has put us in positions that we can both be following our dreams of working in sports. It's really nice but it's hard to find someone who knows exactly what you are going through. He helps give me ideas and advice. Also he understands the constant travel, training, and long hours. Plus we have both had to explain to our family several times about why we want to be in the industry.
3. 4 things you would do with $100,000
First, pay off all our debt. I doubt there will be much more after that to spend. We both have a lot of debt. Mostly student loans, but that's the first thing I would.
If more was left I would break the lease of our apartment, and move into a new place. We both are in agreement that we are not ready for house. We are not getting a house until we are in upper management. We would probably go shopping.
Third we would give money to my parents. They have helped us out soo much with all the traveling and let us leave with them for a while. Some of the things that we have done we couldn't do without them.
Like I have mentioned over and over is that I doubt there will ever be money left, but any remaining money will be put in savings!!

4. 4 favorite books you've ever read
Diary of Anne Frank: I absolutely LOVE this book. One of my favorite books.
The Bible: Hands Down given
Anything Craig Groeschel: All of his books are amazing
Anything by Jon Spoelstra: His business books are great too!!
I love reading so I could go on and on forever!! I love all sorts of books.
5. 4 favorite snack foods
Captain Church cereal: any type is awesome
Pound Cake: I found mini pound cakes at Wal-Mart. They are really yummy, and make a GREAT dessert.
Pistachios: I have recently come to love this. They are a great weekend snack.
Veggies: I love almost all veggies so this is my healthy snack.
6. 4 things that you must do daily
Take Heisman out every morning (minus weekends) at 6:30am

Check my emails and social media. I'm always on twitter.

Pray and do a bible study! I usually do a YouVersion study.
