Which is why I was really glad when I came across Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray.
What makes this product "new" is that it claims to use 5 nourishing oils to achieve the promised softer and smoother hair.
The natural oils were: Moroccan Argan Oil - is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin E, and well-known for its restructuring and moisturising properties.Almond Oil – increases elasticity for perfect movement.Coconut oil – nourishes dry and unmanageable hair.Camellia oil – leaves hair shiny and non-greasy.Babbasu oil – for its superior softening and smoothening properties.
Normally I'd find the idea of using oil in my hair ridiculous until I started using Human Nature Sunflower Oil (actually it did not work for my hair, read my review for details. But I saw the potential there). If that product can do wonders to my skin(but not to my hair, unfortunately) then how much more will an oil-based product made specifically for hair.
Texture:Non-sticky. Because it's supposed to contain natural oils, you'd expect it to be greasy. But it's not! It just felt like water.
Smell:It has a strong shampoo scent that is too strong for me. When I'm having flu, I can't use this product as I find myself having difficulty breathing because of the smell. But on days when my respiratory system is all right, I love using this for the smell. You know when you enter some restaurants and the smell of the food just clings to your hair? I reach for Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray during those instances. A few spritz and my hair smells great again.
When do you need this?Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray was marketed to battle late-afternoon frizz and dryness. In the morning, you have perfectly blow-dried, voluminous and smooth hair. At the end of the day however, it becomes limp and dry.
The case is different with me however. It actually becomes more manageable at the end of the day. My hair is most dry and unmanageable after it has air dried (I don't blow dry my hair to keep it healthy) even if I use conditioner. Sometimes, it doesn't look too bad. There are days however when it becomes annoyingly unruly.That's when Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray comes in handy for me.
This product isn't something that I use everyday. I only find myself grabbing it when my hair is extra frizzy or dry. I also use this on my wet hair whenever I forget to use conditioner. It works and it adds shine to my hair too!
How to use?If you look inside the bottle, you can notice that Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray has two parts: The oil and the conditioner part(I think) so you have to shake it every time you use it. It comes in a spray bottle, which I really like.
How much do you need?The bottle didn't contain any suggestion on how much spritz you need. I usually use around 5-6 though. I have thick hair so I tend to use more products.

This is a stolen shot taken in the midst of a busy activity. I happen to use the Nourishing Oil Spray that day. My hair is colored and a bit wavy at the ends. It's definitely healthier and shinier than it was a year ago. That is thanks to various haircare products that I use, one of which is Sunsilk Nourishing Soft and Smooth Nourishing Oil Spray.
