Your real name and pen name?  I don’t use a pen name, I use my real name Suzanne Mondoux

Please share some of the best memories of your childhood: I have many and they are all around times I’ve spent with animals, nature, and travel.

About your education: Masters of Science Environment and Management from Royal Roads University.

What career did you plan during your education days: I changed throughout the years. I started in Cartography, to Animal Care Giver, then to Natural/Renewable Resources. When I completed my MSc I took several acting classes.

What languages you can speak and write? I am French Canadian. In fact, I learned English in school and with friends. TI am bilingual French and English, with beginner level Spanish (very much beginner).

What is your biggest source of inspiration in life? Animals

What hurts you most in this world? Animals not well cared for.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced? There has been many. From love, career, etc … How did you overcome it?  Belief in what I wanted for myself and support of friends.

If you had to live a day of your life as one of the living or dead personality, who would it be and why? No one.

What is your favorite genre and why?  Exploration — anything that expands the mind, takes you on an adventure — real or imaginary.

When did you start writing? In my last year of high school.  What is the purpose of your writing?  It’s like breathing for me. A must.

Which of your work has been published so far? How I Became a Dragon, Tragedy of the Moth.

What are your forthcoming writings?  A Series…of different animals..different circumstances… but the names of the books have changed.

What genres you write in and why? Fiction —— education and imagination — to learn more about animals.

What keeps you motivating towards writing?  Give animals a voice, help to make a better world for them.

If Writing a Book is taken as a project, What are the key essentials you take care of in Project Management?  Know my story and why I’m writing it.

How do you plan, schedule and monitor your writing commitments? I don’t plan, don’t monitor or commit. I do!

What are your future plans? To keep writing.

What is generally your preference in reading – a paper book or ebook? And why? Paperbook. I like a book in my hands.

What four top most things you take care of while writing a book? Why I’m writing this story, Why I’m writing this story, Why I’m writing this story and Why I’m writing this story

How much real life goes into a fiction writing?  Quite a bit…fact and fiction.

Is a high level of imagination important to have for an Author? Yes

Your dream destination on Earth?  My heart.

Your origin of birth and other countries you have visited/ stayed. I was born in Cornwall, Ontario Canada. I’ve lived and worked in Texas, Nigeria, Mauritania, Rep of Congo, Guinea, and been to Cameroon and Central Africa for work. For a holiday I’ve been to South Africa, Scotland, England, France, Switzerland, Antarctica, Argentina, Spain, Greece, Italy, Turkey, and  the United States, What best things you liked in these countries around the globe? History, people, culture, natural space.

Favorite time of the day? Morning

Your favorite color and why? Blue, calming.

What is the last book you finished reading? What is the current book you are reading? Reading various books at the same time.

Your favorite food? Various foods…savory…from different cultures.

Your favorite sports? Not a sports person.

What is the force that drives you? My purpose!

What comes to your mind when you think of India? Never been there, would like to visit.
