Today marks to unofficial end of summer.
Yes, according to the calendar, summer doesn’t end for another 20 something days, but Labor Day is traditionally treated as the finish line for the summer season.
This Labor Day, I’d like to propose that we give the actual final days of summer the respect they deserve. It is practically a month after all.
Yes, the pools are closed and the kids are back in school, but that doesn’t mean it’s fall yet.
September can be fun too.
Plus, if the forecast for this winter is to be believed, we all need to soak in all of the warmth we can now, and then start praying for spring.
