It's officially the holiday season! If you don't believe me, check out Starbucks's new cups.
Yes, the controversial cups are back. This year's designs are decked out in red, green, stars, coffee cherries, stripes, and flames.
So far the only controversy surrounds today's free reusable red cup promotion. Which is less of a controversy and more of a collective annoyance that the Starbucks' app couldn't handle the heavier traffic this morning.
Still, the season is young, and there's still plenty of time for people to direct their outrage at a rather inconsequential coffee container.
For now let's enjoy the joy and peace that come from just being able to enjoy this holiday tradition free from misguided judgement.
