Happy weekend, crusaders, and to those who celebrate it, I hope you're enjoying Sweetest Day (even if it was stolen from the children ...but enjoy!).
Today, I'd like to slow things down for International Sloth Day.
No, it's not a day to be lazy, unless that's how you want to spend your Saturday, you do you...
But today is actually about conservation and sloth awareness. Educate yourself:
I know this poor creature's name has become associated with laziness (which is just super judgy, they can't move any faster that's not their fault)...
...they also happen to be adorable ...
...but I prefer to focus on how sloths provide a solid example of the benefits of taking your time. Rushing rarely has benefits, and sloths do not rush into anything...
And there's something positive to be said about taking one's time, and I think that as we approach another big decision for our nation, taking the time to consider our options and choose the right branch (figurative) for all our branches (governmental) for everyone, is something we could all stand to emulate.
So take your time, but also use your time to get smart before November 6.
