My little niece Presley was born on May 22 weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. What a sweet little angel. I know our family has just added tons more love! I love her already without even meeting her. My sister lives in North Carolina and her husband had just deployed exactly one week prior. What strength to have a baby on your own. Of course, my Mom and Dad were there, but its not the same. Daddy did get to listen in on the phone, even being 5000 miles away, it was like he was in the room with her. That's all that matters.
Really, this is what I am most thankful for. My sister is healthy, baby is doing well, and eating like a horse apparently. We are a family of eaters, maybe she inherited that gene. Everyone is happy. I will add some pictures as soon as I get more. She will be my own until I have one of my own. Dang it, I hope the baby fever doesn't kick in again, but I can feel it creeeeeeping. Darn you adorable, chubby cheeked babies. Stay away, stay away. Not really. She can stay. I mean, look at her? Have you seen a more beautiful baby? I didn't think so. Oh, and under that hat is the most beautiful, jet black, curly hair. I cannot wait to meet and hold and smell her beautiful babyness.
