There are many aspects to The Accident by Shree Janani. It is just a 12-page story. Without undermining the capabilities of writing skills of the author, the story is short and abrupt. Obviously, in 12 pages it is the best you could produce. It has love, intensity, suspense, thrill, shock, grief, and paranormal. Definitely, there is an element of curiosity that remains with you while passing through every page of the story. And that remains until the end. But at the end, you would feel something is missing. And probably, like me would try to join the dots. But I could not. Maybe there is no point in finding out the gaps and enjoy the story as it is. Of course, it gives you a shock. And makes you think why and how even after finishing the story. That is the power of writing.

The Accident by Shree Janani – An Induced Thriller @shreejanani

The Accident is a story of Raghu, a billionaire businessman. Raghu and his wife Rini were living a wonderful life together. Having no child for 15 years despite a happy marriage was a unanimous decision for whatsoever reasons. All of a sudden, after 15 years, it becomes a point of an argument. That argument triggers an aggression and finally results in a disaster. Coincidently, a similar kind of situation arises between another couple living in the same city. And that leads to a double disaster. This is where the story takes turns and changes Raghu’s life altogether. The same thing happens with Anusha, wife of Ashok. Anusha and Ashok is the other couple. If you spread the story on a blank canvas, you will find many question marks here and there.

The Accident Is Just An Opening Knock

I think the author is quite clear about those question marks in mind. But maybe couldn’t express them well in the story. But that is just a beginning. There is a lot of scopes and a better set of stories are in store for future from the author. The Accident is just a first step of a long journey of writing from this promising author.
