Just like that my break away to Nashville is coming to a climatic end. Of course, the monster reared its ugly head today and derailed our Sunday dinner and company plans. All is still well. I know the flare monster knows no bounds of time, place, or occasion. I’m still triumphant. Overall this trip couldn’t have come at a better time. It was just what I needed to reset, realign, and refocus on who and what is most important in my life. Letting go of a ton of emotional, mental and physical baggage has left me feeling lighter and brighter. The examples of strength, patience, resilience, and faith that I have witnessed during this past week have been nothing short of amazing. Friends enduring ails and ills that would break most yet despite insurmountable odds remain positive, glowing, and best of all happy. Happy despite the sadness. Strong despite their weakness. Carrying on even when it is so easy to fall out. I am truly blessed and thankful to have come to know these amazing friends.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get around to everyone. But thats ok, there’s next time which will come sooner rather than later. Nashville truly is my home away and I am so thankful to have the immense love and support of so many fine folk. Hoping your weekend was filled with as much positivity as mine.
