The Art Of Typing Backwards: The Adventures Of A Sleep Deprived Mummy

Posted on the 26 March 2013 by Susiemcbeth @susiemcbeth
Due to the entire lack of sleep I got last night due to the hainous nature of teething and over tired twins who are revelling in some late night/early morning dedicated mommy time, I am a bit of a mess today.
So far today I have re-read the same paragraph that I was supposed to be editing three times and have not taken in a single word.
I have put my cup of tea in the fridge, instead of drinking it (a serious waste of Earl Grey, Capt. Picard would put me in the brig for that!).
And I have spent most of the morning typing words backwards (which is seriously annoying as it is not something spell check generally picks up - which means there is a lot of retyping to be done).
The whole typing things backwards is something that I generally do when I am tired and stressed, and today I am a bit of both.
The twins however, are the life of the party and have spent the morning playing with LEGO and picture books - I am expecting the screams and moodiness that goes hand in hand with over tired toddlers to happen around 3pm (this is toddler tantrum danger time).
Hmmmm comfy bed is that you calling me?
Time to go fix myself more tea (I will drink it this time) and then time for some crayon time with my little monkeys.
