The Book of Us: Chapter 04 / Page 19 - Happy 3rd Birthday Twinkies

I can't quite believe the Twinkies are 3 already, the time really has flown by. It makes me wonder does it go twice as fast when you have twins, the certainly seem to be growing and developing at super speeds. They have come so far in such a short time. I will never forget when I set eyes on Zoey for the first time, she was tiny and didn't fit in her skin, so wrinkly like a little old lady. Zachary, on the other hand was tiny and reminded me of Ben on first sight.
Three years on and you would never guess they were premature. In the past year Zoey's hair has finally started to grow and she has a head of ringlets. She is so strong willed and stubborn but sweet and caring with it. Zachary is little Mr Action, he loves nothing better than zooming about on his scooter or playing around outside. They are both so affectionate and loving, idolising their big brother who they adore. I love their bond, it's very special and a joy to watch them play together. Like all siblings they wind each other up sometimes but they are so close it doesn't take long before they are best friends again. 
Happy 3rd Birthday my Little Twinkies, I love you to the moon and back. I'm a very lucky Mummy.
