The California Wine Festival

Disclosure: I am partaking in the Beach Side Wine Festival this Saturday with complimentary admission.

This weekend, along the beach front of Santa Barbara, the 10th annual California Wine Festival is taking place.  On Thursday and Friday evenings, special wine events will be taking place in Santa Barbara, and on Saturday, an afternoon of wine tasting from a variety of wineries will take place from Noon to 4pm.

Thursday, June 18th: 6:30 to 9pm:

Old Spanish Nights ~ Wine Tasting:

The event includes an evening of music, flamenco, and spicy tapas as you taste some of California’s finest wines.

Tickets: 49 dollars

Friday, June 19th: 5 to 6pm

“Get Me a Cab” Cabernet Clinic and Tasting

3 Winemakers from 3 Wineries will take over this event as you enter to try out some of the finest Cabernet’s out of the Paso Robles wine region.  The winemakers will walk you through how they create their wines, and showcase their techniques.  You will get to try out each winemaker’s creation as you are invited to ask questions along the way.

David Parrish of Parrish Famil Vineyards
Mike Mooney of Chateau Margene
Don Brady of Robert Hall Winery
Craig Stoller of Sextant Winery

Tickets: 40 dollars (Gate price: 60 dollars)

Friday, July 19th: Sunset Rare and Reserve: 6:30 to 9pm

Begin your evening of sipping champagne outside the world famous Carousel of Chase Palm Park Plaza.  This evening will consist of limited reserve priced wines matched with gourmet foods.

Tickets: 110 dollars (Gate price: 140 dollars)

Saturday, June 20th: Beach Side Wine Festival

Join us beach side as you are invited to taste a variety of California wines for this fun beach side festival.  Foods will also be present to munch on during this fun event.

Early Admittance: Noon Ticket prices: 94 or Gate Price: 105

Public Admittance: 1pm Ticket Prices: 69 dollars or Gate Price: 80 dollars
