Outside the wind is blowing and the rain is moments away from coming down. Walking back home, crossing the street I come face to face with my favorite green colored vitrine at Ladurée, the best place to go into on a cold gray day, when you are craving for that extra motivation to help take you home the last kilometer.
And so I entered Macaron Heaven, the smells are infectiously sweet and soothing, and I ask for the new flavors. The mademoiselle answers in her pretty French accent “Menthe Glaciale.”
And I walk out with a pretty green bag and my delicious glacier mint macaron, which I indulge in during my last 1K walk home!
Instant satisfaction = instant happiness
Passers by on the street stare at me and I smile, hoping they too pick up on the idea that if something so small and sweet can put such a big smile on your face, then it must be good for the heart <3
