"Mamma!  Mamma!  There's an accident outside!  Come quick!"
"Oh my God!  Where?"
Lara dropped what she was doing immediately and turned off the burner as she knew her food had to wait and there now was a more pressing matter.  She followed Sally outside and had her phone in her hand.  Immediately, she called 911.
"There's been a car accident outside our house.  We're at 28 Cherry Lane in Walton, New York.  Come quick!  It looks like a good size crash!  Oh my God, I recognize the car!"  Lara hung up the phone, stuffed it in her skirt pocket and rushed to the scene.
Sally followed her and was motioned to stay on the sidewalk.  She watched as her Mamma approached the car.  Sally wasn't sure what to think as this was the first time she had ever witness something like this.  She had seen it in some of the movies, but never in real life and she was simply stunned and felt as if it was something out of a horror story.  Her mind right now was not on her precious money tree.
Lara studied the scene.  Both cars were quite wrecked.  They were situated in the middle of the road but more of the side of the road where the red car was coming down.  It appeared to look as if the green car had driven into the other lane and collided with the red car.  The red Corolla looked worse for wear than the green Mazda.  But the green one wasn't the one she was more concerned with, but in fact it was the red one because she knew the driver.  It was her friend, Mary.
Lara first looked inside both cars to check to see what the condition of the drivers were.  The man appeared to be moving quite well and Mary was moving and breathing too.  It looked like neither one had become unconcious, so she didn't have to worry about resucitation.  But she wasn't sure how badly they were hurt.
A few seconds later, the man surprised her and opened his car door.  "Are you alright?
