The House is Now Warm

I think we've just about recovered from our giant housewarming party a week and a half ago. The house still isn't as clean as I would hope - but almost all the food is gone and the borrowed items returned to their owners. The party was excellent.
So many wonderful people turned up to help warm our darling little house. We held most of the party in the back yard.
I had labels and signs informing and instructing guests. There were paper bags to be filled with plumbs from our three trees, and blankets for picnicing. We had numerous and creative hot dog toppings, like kimchi and sprouts. Food was eaten, games were played - a good time was had by all.
The day was especially saved by Clement Charles who came through at the last minute with a sound system. And I couldn't have done it without my amazing family and friends who lent many a helping hand to make sure the day went off smoothly.
I'm still kicking myself for not getting a picture of the incredible dessert table heavily laden with gourmet Doughbot Doughnuts and pies. For most of the party my camera was being used in the make-shift photo booth I created out of some old curtains, a tripod and my camera remote. It got some great shows. I'm really happy with how it turned out - a lot cheaper than renting one.
