The Versatile Blogger Award

The Versatile Blogger Award*pops the champagne*Thank you to Elise from Foof&Faff, who has awarded me the Versatile Blogger Award. The lovely Elise herself was nominated for both the above award and the Lovely Blog Award and she decided to pass them along to According to Amber, so congratulations are in order to her as well!

So, in true 'blog award' fashion, here are seven random facts about me, and my own nominees.

  1. I hate the feel of cardboard and newspapers. They make my hands feel really grubby. Eurgh!
  2. I've had several near death experiences in my life, including ladders falling off a roof and hitting me in the head, falling off a dam and nearly drowning and down an abandoned ice pit when I was little. My Mother is frequently amazed (and disappointed) that I am still alive. Hah.
  3. I have a short attention span. Be it a new course, project, job or relationship I will give it my all. I will pour my heart and soul into it until I'm all used up, get bored and go in search of something more exciting. I don't know if this is because I haven't found the right course/job/relationship yet, or if it's just a bad trait of mine. Time will tell.
  4. I'm not very family orientated. I was an only child, and don't know much of my extended family very well. I feel much closer to some of my school friends than I ever have my own family members.
  5. I collect postcards. Even if I don't buy anything else, I have to buy a postcard from everywhere that I visit. I keep them pinned to a massive cork-board in my bedroom.
  6. Despite being brought up in the country, I long to live in a city. I love the busyness, the buzz, the anonymity.
  7. I'm a really bad driver. Good luck, if I ever offer a lift to you, it may well be your last!
And now for the nominees!
Thank you Elise once again.
