Island of the Blue Dolphins: A fave book in Middle School

Most of my worldly possessions are in storage & I’m out thrifting non-essentials.Nice one Heather.

My first free morning in a month of shifting & moving, & what do I do?… head to the 2nd hand shop!

It was on the way to my  Stretch/Yoga class (much needed after lifting boxes & sleeping in strange beds) :)

The Dolphin:  Great for various water-play activities.  My little one loves pouring: Tea parties, gardening, “baking”.

Added bonus: the 2 year old now wants to wash her hair! (YAY!!)

Other Stourbridge Street Thrift Shop Goodies:

Monkey height chart Kikki K

That Little Girl grew, she grew and she grew and she grew!

Height Chart:  Combines 2 favorite subjects in this household: Growing & Monkeys.

Looks like it was an unwanted gift, but this Kikki K height chart will be perfect in the little one’s new room.

Fisher Price Telephone

Call Me Maybe?

Fisher Price Classic: the pull along telephone.

Like my favorite Little Gymnast book, I had one & wanted my little girl to have one too.

Ever come home super excited because you’ve stumbled upon a childhood favourite? What was the first thing that caught your eye at the charity shops this week?

I’d love you to share your thrifting strategy or your own op shopping experiences in the comments below.  I’m all about sharing the knowledge, but if you’re an Op Shopping Ninja who thrives on a stealth mission, I get and respect that too!
