This holiday week with calendars thrown to the wind, it's been difficult for some people (myself included) to keep track of what day of the week it is.
So, today let me first say, that it's Thursday.
Okay, now that that is settled, it's also the final Thursday of 2018, which just begs for a Throwback Thursday 2018 edition.
These last 360-ish days have been quite a ride. There have been highs, lows, soul-crushing moments, and moments so perfect, smiling was a necessity.
There will be plenty out there who will analyze the lows (as we should) to death, so I'll take the highs, the wins, the can't-help-but-smile moments of 2018. (Well, a few of them anyway.)
And what a year it has been...
We got a second "Mamma Mia" and hope for many (many, many, many) more to come (please?).
In other sequel news, 2018 brought (the U.S.) " Paddington 2" the movie the Golden Globes forgot, but fret not, a third Paddington adventure has already been confirmed.
Also, every single Hamildrop (the series of new releases Lin-Manuel Miranda produced throughout 2018 for "Hamilton" fans), including my favorite.
Plus, let's not forget Lin-Manuel Miranda's last-minute, non-Hamilton, viral gift featuring James Corden and Emily Blunt.)
And you can't talk about 2018 wins without discussing the new Doctor, aka the first female lead for "Doctor Who."
2018, it's been quite a ride. Here's to throwing it forward in 2019.
