She was all ears
My funny stories
My weird experiences
And things she found amusing
She would laugh
At things
Which wasn’t easy to comprehend
In that small time
I thought we grew
Closer than what she imagined
And I expected
But then
A day came
When she stopped
Midway,
Devoid of all emotional connect,
