Clear the clutter.
Declutter your home before starting to clean. Otherwise, once your home is sparkling clean the last thing you’ll want to do is to take everything out of the drawers and wardrobes to sort them out (even more if it is that one miscellaneous drawer in the kitchen!).
The Handy Squad, London handyman business, published an article on their blog about easy winter home improvement projects, in which they mention the importance of decluttering your home, even before Spring starts. They refer to Marie Kondo’s method of asking yourself if you need and love certain belongings, if the answer is yes, keep them, if no, either throw them away, sell them or give them to charity. From top to bottom.
Do your cleaning from the ceiling down, this will ensure that any dust and debris will fall on the floor and can easily be vacuumed after. This will prevent you from having to clean your floors again, so don’t forget to start from top to bottom. Top tips to spring clean your home
