Tuesday Stuff

Posted on the 20 December 2011 by Ourlittlecorner @ourcornerblog

Yesterday was one of those days I wanted to pull my hair out. The kids woke up at the crack of dawn, I wasn't feeling good and C wouldn't take a nap. Just one of those days. Around 4 I finally packed the kids up, went to Starbucks drive-thru and to Walmart to pick up a few things and walk around. Sometimes we just need to get out of the house for a while.
This morning I took the kids to the doctor. Thankfully no one had a fever this morning and hopefully Bug is on the mend. C had a low grade temp last night but seems fine today. All 3 of us have scratchy throats and coughs but I guess that's probably typical winter stuff.
We went to my mom's for a while this afternoon. We all made chocolate chip cookies. This was C's first time to help out and he seemed to have a lot of fun!

Tuesday stuffI thought they looked so sweet standing on chairs side by side.
It's really cold here right now. I'm sure what the temp is but it's bitter! And the winter doesn't help. I've heard rumors we may have snow on Christmas... I hope so!! White Christmases are few and far between around here.
Tuesday stuff{via}I found a new kind of vitamin the kids Little C likes. These have a nice, easy-to-chew texture. The last chewable kids' vitamins we got were difficult for even me to chew! These are much easier. Little C popped one in his mouth like a piece of candy and begged for more while Bug held one delicately between her fingers and licked it for 20 minutes! She never did finish it. This is the same girl who takes a Smartie (one tiny little ol' Smartie) and holds it between her fingers and licks it until there's almost nothing left. Then she gives me the half a molecule that's left over and tells me she doesn't want any more! She cracks me up.Well, hope everyone's having a lovely week!! I'm so sleepy. I'm hoping the kids are in their beds and asleep by 9:30. (Haha, yeah right!) We really need to work on bed time and sleeping habits around here. The kids going to bed at 11 and sleeping half the night (or the whole night!) in our bed isn't working so well any more.
