Tuesday Updates
You may remember the old commercials... My grandpa has it and he's in great shape, but he's 88 and lives alone in a rural town. Well today I get a call from Life Alert Emergency and immediately think my grandpa is in trouble (well I'm trying not to think the worse)... Apparently he bumped something either on the box or his watch and when they called his house, he was outside so he didn't hear them on the voice box, nor phone. So he's outside, working on his lawn mower and they send over the paramedics, sheriff, firefighters and of course his neighbors notice and rush over. We're all relieved that he's fine and glad the service does work. Keep in mind, there are only 75 people in his whole town so everyone was at his house today checking on him.
Be Nice!Without going into too many details, I haven't been feeling well for a while and have been working hard at finding the source of this medical mystery. I keep on trying to push forward, but there are many people in my life that try to bring me down, judge me harshly and try to guilt me out about everything and anything. For example, I have a scan tomorrow (Wed) and I don't want it done, but this unnamed person was highly concerned about the cost of the test. But people make it seem that I brought this on myself, that I want to see a million doctors and want to have a million tests run. This is really not the life I envisioned. But I do find that people are meaner and more critical anymore. I could go on and on about all of the dumb things judge me for... but I digress. I just want to be able to focus on getting better and getting my normal life back without the negative commentary.
In Other NewsSo I fixed the cable TV today, nursed the dog back to health... I have such a weird skill set. I also have mad IKEA building skills. I wonder how all of that would look on a resume? The next dog whisperer, techie, builder... I could build "smart" dog houses, beds, accessories. I always wanted Kamana to be like the dogs in the movie Up. He would probably ask me for snacks non-stop.
Until next time...Tuesday Updates
