If you haven't been keeping up with The Walking Dead, I can say that now is the time to catch up. This post-apocalyptic story of survival against the risen undead has just gotten much better. This season, the threat to the protagonist, Rick Grimes and his crew has significantly shifted. Gone are the days when the biggest threat were the bloodthirsty nightmares called "Walkers" that roamed and took over the earth. What endangers our little group the most is, as the title suggests, the more ruthless creature called Man.
Thrust into a lawless world where as so eloquently put by one of the characters, it's "You kill or you die, or you die and you kill", it's more about trust, difficult moral decisions, and simply being a more tenacious killer. I  have been keeping up with the show, but it's only with this season that I could barely wait for each weekly episode. It was a hell of a ride all throughout. Also contributing to this show is the appearance of Rick's nemesis, a leader as charismatic as he is disturbed, the one simply referred to as "The Governor". The poster couldn't have said it better: Fight the dead, fear the living. My only fear right now is that I have to wait until October for the fourth season of this awesome series, and that it might not be at least almost as good.
Verdict: 4.5/5 - A must-watch show, if only just for this season. Watch it straight or catch up with the first two seasons first if you are like me and are unable to watch things outside the chronological order. :)
