I always get really excited when I have a really fun vacation planned. This vacation, however, I think I am more excited for than I have been in the past.
Why?
Because I am going to Las Vegas to participate in the Vegas Valley Book Festival. I originally was going to meet my friend and author Wendi Kelly. Writing/business partner of my friend author Deborah Dorchak. Co-authors of the Bonds of Blood & Spirit saga. (which is fabulous if I do say so)
Then came an opportunity to attend a writers workshop they are having the day before. So, being a budding writer I jumped at this opportunity.
But…The best thing yet just happened a little bit ago. I was asked to “hang out” at my friend’s booth during the festival. How cool is that!!! Naturally I said I would love to because…well…I would love to.
