I don't know if you've noticed but Mexican food is almost everywhere. It's like opportunities for us to experience what Mexico tastes like without traveling to the country. Lol. I did take quite a liking for Mexican food these days. I love imagining myself coming home from a long day, turning on my laptop to watch my favorite TV series or show, while munching a reheated burrito. Mexican comfort food just makes the experience even better.
Just recently, we have found out a somewhat hidden food spot that serves delicious Mexican dishes. Located in Mango Square Mall resides La Lucha Taqueria, one of the perfect places for Mexican food lovers. They've been operating since long time ago but they somehow get to not being noticed probably because of their location. That's why I'm sharing this experience to spread the word and for you guys to check out!
What's even more amazing about La Lucha is that you'd get the chance to choose any meat of your choice on any meals that require you to have one. You can have:
Carne Asada - SteakCarnitas - Braised PorkPollo - Shredded ChickenBuche - Pork StomachPollo Asado - Grilled ChickenLengua - Beef TongueAl Pastor - Marinated PorkChorizo - Mexican Sausage
From the bottom-left is Fries which comes in your choice of toppings of cheese & jalapenos (Regular Fries • Php210.00), or beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, & your choice of meat (Super Fries • Php345.00). On the center-top is their Nachos which also comes in cheese (Regular Nachos • Php210.00) or beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, & your choice of meat (Super Nachos • Php345.00). And then their Taco Salad or Ensalada.
At the center is their Horchata, an ice cold rice milk drink, with vanilla and cinnamon. They serve FREE Horchata all day, every Fridays for every purchase of any food. They also have Strawberry juice made from sweet real strawberries.
From the left is their Fish Taco with the Red Snapper fillet. And their Super Nachos on the right. It was kinda sad because they ran out of guacamole so the Super Nachos had none. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed eating it!

This is their Pozole Soup with hominy, pork, chilies, cabbage, onions, and cilantro. They call this the soup for the hangover. I should definitely try this one out when having a hangover.
A Mexican restaurant is not a Mexican restaurant without the presence of a Burrito. They have six (6) kinds that you can choose from:

Chile Rellenos • Php440.00 - With Anaheim peppers filled with cheese, bathed in egg batter, and fried rice and beans on the side. If you think that this is super spicy, I tell you, it's not. It's the kind of spicy that's just chill in your mouth. They say that's how Mexican spice should be.
And lastly their Quesadillas. You can also have:
