Hate waiting in line? You’re not alone. There are very few queue enthusiasts out there. It’s no one’s favorite pastime, but it’s an inevitable part of life…until now…wait for it…there’s an app for that.
Okay, technically it’s not an app, it’s a search feature on Google that shows you peak hours for businesses, presumably so you can go during non-peak hours and avoid lines. Unless you’re a queue enthusiast, then you’ll know when to go to get the most out of waiting in line.
It’s a great feature to be sure, until we all start using it and completely screw with the peak times algorithm. Then what will we do? Perhaps, work on our patience? It’s a trait that seems to be vanishing beneath the piles and piles of technology-driven conveniences.
This FastPass culture (people should not be able to pay more to cut other paying customers in line…just saying…stay strong Disney), needs to learn to slow down, and appreciate (or at least tolerate) the tedium sometimes. There will be lines, there will be traffic, make the best of it. We’re all in this together.
