Wedding at Clevedon Hall : Bridal Preparation

Posted on the 16 August 2017 by Belinda Mccarthy @b_mccarthyphoto

What a wonderful wedding at Clevedon Hall this one turned out to be - and not only because of the beautiful location and the incredible love felt between the bride and groom, but also because guests had travelled from all over the world to be there!

The bride and groom live in London and wanted to celebrate their wedding with a wonderful English country house affair. However, as the bride's family live in China, and the groom's in Germany, there was undoubtedly an awful lot of organisation that went into getting all their loved ones together to celebrate with them!

I was privileged enough to be with the wedding party for the entire day from bridal preparation to first dance; and what a rollercoaster of emotions this day proved to hold! In this blog, which covers the bridal prep at this lovely wedding at Clevedon Hall, we see a little of the first big moment of the day; the moment her father of the bride sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the very first time. It's amazing to be a party to moments like this - and of course, as their wedding photographer, being absolutely unobtrusive at such an key moment is absolutely paramount.

Clevedon Hall in North Somerset is a wonderful venue for a celebration, and the day ran faultlessly for the bride, groom and their guests. The weather even gave us a true British Summer to match - yes, you guessed it, cloudy, windy and a bit on the cool side!

Let's take a look at some of my favourite images from the bridal prep at this gorgeous Clevedon Hall wedding celebration; I do hope you like them. What a super gorgeous bride, too! I can't wait to bring you more from this lovely wedding in the weeks to come, including a blog about the wonderfully emotional wedding ceremony, which was conducted in three languages!
