Weekday Wedding at Orchardleigh: Previews

Posted on the 09 August 2017 by Belinda Mccarthy @b_mccarthyphoto

Are you planning a weekday wedding? (For those not in the wedding industry, that means Monday to Thursday!) If so - you're in good company, for more and more couples are capitalising on better availability of both venues and suppliers by holding their special day away from the busy weekend dates - just like this lovely couple, who held their weekday wedding at Orchardleigh House Estate near Frome in Somerset.

There is nothing more fabulous for me, as a wedding photographer, to be able to capture the whole day through from preparations to dancing - and when everything is being held in one lovely venue and under one roof, that makes things a whole lot simpler for everyone involved! In addition, when the weather forecast isn't quite what you'd hoped for.... it means that if it does rain, you've a better chance of keeping everyone dry, comfortable and celebrating without a care to what the weather is doing outside!

This lovely weekday wedding at Orchardleigh House ended up being bright, breezy and thankfully not rainy at all... so we got to enjoy both the indoors and outdoors! Plus, as you may have noticed, this blog includes colour only images. Most of my blogs feature a high number of black and white shots; however, this couple prefer colour images, and I am of course very happy to oblige in order to suit individual client preferences.

It was wonderful to be back at Orchardleigh to shoot another wonderful wedding day - I have lots of very happy memories of weddings here, for many fantastic clients! Hopefully it won't be too long until I'm back to make the most of the fabulous facilities Orchardleigh offers couples planning their wedding day - and to help another bride and groom capture all those special memories.
