Good morning, all, and happy Monday! After a great week and an awesome weekend, I’m ready to tackle the next week – and I’m going to need the energy! I have so many projects in the works now, it’s hard to keep them straight. I only hope that I can make them all come together for me soon 
The hubby and I hosted friends at the house this weekend, caught up on projects both around the house and on our respective computers, and also took some time to hit the slopes {easy since there’s a nice short slope five minutes from the house}. It was the hubby’s first time on skis and my first time in a looong time, but I managed to rock the bunny slope and green circle runs without trouble! Yeah, that’s me up there, snow-plowing like a boss.
I love how my 101 in 1001 list has opened my eyes to all the opportunities around me, just waiting for the taking – and this picture shows one of them. I’ve wanted to go to a book signing and engage authors in conversation about them, their writing, life, the universe and everything, so to complete goal #84 I started scanning the academy bookstore’s newsletter – and lo and behold, one of my favorite authors was coming to visit! So not only did I get a signed book and a picture with Bob Mayer, but I had a goodly amount of time to chat with him about his time as a cadet, his time in the special forces, and what kind of crazy things drove him to write such a wonderfully wide variety of books!
Anyway, we’ve got a lot planned for this week. I started to really update my blog page on Facebook, beginning with the promo for Broadway Week – a two for one ticket offer that Broadway is hosting from now until 7 February! We’re taking advantage of that to go see Matthew Broderick in “Nice Work if You Can Get It” and check out some new dining spots. I’m also really excited to be starting a photography class tonight! I’ve had some instruction before, but I figured it’s about time I finally learned how to really use the expensive camera I tote around. We’ll see how that goes!
