Weekly Outfit Grid: V-day

It's the time of the year once again! Though this isn't my favorite, that doesn't mean I won't make any outfit suggestions this coming Valentine's day. To start off, what else would we basically wear but something red? Now ladies, let's add a lil' elegance to that and wear something velvety for you to rock this Valentine's day with your partner.

Velvet is just one of the most glamorous and luxurious fabrics ever. Not only that, it also looks very sexy and classy at the same time. If you consider looking like those adjectives I just mentioned, then velvet ensemble should be your go-to choice this coming Valentine's day. This seasonal kind of fabric is perfect for occasions as such. But velvet should not be stagnant only for formal events. Mix and matching it with different kinds of outfits would be a practical and stylish way to be more flexible with velvet clothing. However, velvet for guys might be kind of expensive and too uncommon so let’s settle with some good old classic style that cool guys like you and/or your partner would never go wrong with.

If you noticed, velvet clothing is reminiscent of 70's - 80's fashion, most especially the skirts. Since people in today's era like to try every other fashion that's passed, it is most definitely a good outfit idea to try out. If you and your lover are planning to go on a formal day out, a red velvet dress is perfect for you. May it be a choker slip dress or just a choker top paired with a pencil skirt, your velvet clothing will help you achieve a look that is as classy as it is alluring. If red velvet is not your bet, then I suggest go for a blueberry colored one.
Everyone wants to look good this Valentine's, including guys. If your're one of them and you'd like to make your girl proud, then dress up nice and fashionable to make yourselves a lovely couple. I always find guys who wear a plain descent looking polo, neat, classy, and stylish. They almost always do. Depending on where you are heading with your girl, a dark red polo paired with shiny black pants is a go-to. It's not too outrageous nor formal, but not too casual at the same time. This is good if you are a now-person and likes to plan things on the day. Just add one layer of coat or suit if you wanna go for a fancier level of date. But like millennials as we most are, we are likely to opt for a casual meal, so perhaps your favorite polo shirt and trousers are for you. 
They always say, when in doubt, stick with the neutrals. So if you're like me who's always in doubt (if you know what I mean lol!), then just remember that thought. Haha!
