Welcome to My Obsessions

To say that I have an obsessive personality might put it a little lightly.  When I find an interest in something, it gets my full focus - this of course is something I working on correcting, often I fail - but I am still working on it :-).
So I have been remiss in posting to my blog - because I am no longer interested in it?  Absolutely not!!
See, I recently got a shiny new toy:

As you look at that picture, imagine if you will:  a chior of angels singing in your head.  Yeah - that is what goes on in my head every time I look at it.  I am so in love ... with the MIXER ... yeah, I said that out loud.  I didn't win it, even though I have been entering every contest as many times as I can over the past several months; however, I did get a GREAT deal on it.  I actually plan on writing a post on it, in case anyone is hesitant about buying KitchenAid refurbished (don't be).
So - I have been in baking, or mixing,  heaven:
  
The first one is of my regular bread recipe - the second is Marshmallows, which is another post I plan on writing (see I have all the plans to write posts, but I haven't been to my blog to DO it!
So I know you are thinking, c'mon Mel!  You are this put together gal, you even posted how you schedule all of your stuff on Sundays.  Yup - I SURE did, didn't I?  Soooo .... what was the plan when Sundays end up jam packed with family time, and I can't pull myself out of my mixing euphoria?  Hell if I know!  I didn't make a plan for that!!  So you know what plan B is?  Throwing everything out the window and living by my obsessions --- err .. passions, yeah that is it .. passions!
Oh - and when I do come out of the clouds, I have actually been enjoying a game that I bought MONTHS ago - Guild Wars 2.  I even have a plan for a few posts on that too:

See - I have even been working on a leader/header for the post!  So you see - I have been thinking of you - just not enough to pull me out of my mixing heaven long enough to type a post. :-)
There is some good news though!

• I have been on TOP of my dishes!!  Normally dirty dishes are my Arch Nemesis  but since I have been a mixing maven I have been keeping up with my dishes.
• I am coming out of my euphoria - and having the mixer only adds to the posts I want to post - you should see my idea board now!
• Sunday - I will be doing my schedule and getting back on track - though I will be setting up a post about my game before the end of the week - but no promises.
• I do have a plan if I get busy Sunday; to do the scheduling/writing on Monday.

I will be back to haunting your blogs tomorrow as well. :-)  Just know this may happen again - it is just a part of my personality :-)  I get pulled by my passions, and get distracted from my regular stuff.  I will try to not let it take me so long next time hehe.
